SIÈCLE exists around the designers’ two houses in France and Portugal. Because when they settle in an area, Marisa and Philippe work with local craftsmen to bring their projects to life.

First, the two designers, set up their workshop near their house, in a little village, south of Paris. A few years later, they opened their shop one hour away, in the heart of Paris. 

Then, 20 years later, inspired by Marisa Portuguese origins, they opened their artist House, in the tranquility of Portugal. In the discreet region of the Alentejo, where cork oak landscapes and flamboyant culture blend together, Marisa invited guest of the Bird House, to reconnect with an authentic countryside and life style.
