SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

The purchase of SIÈCLE Paris products is subject to the present Conditions of Sale.
SIÈCLE Paris may at any time update these Terms of Sale. The updated Terms and Conditions of Sale are available at any time on request.
All operations by SIÈCLE Paris implies unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions by the buyer.

QUOTATION PROCEDURE

All made-to-measure services and orders offered by SIÈCLE Paris are subject to a personalized quote sent by e-mail. It includes the designation and type of services based on the client's request as well as the related terms and costs.

Each estimate can be modified free of charge 3 times. After this number of modifications, each amendment is invoiced at €20 including tax. The rates of the quotations are valid for a period of 3 months and may be modified in the absence of confirmation of the said quotation. 

ORDERING PROCEDURE

You can place an order directly in our shop, 24 rue du Bac 75007 Paris. By post 7 rue Grande, 77570, Bougligny, France. By email: contact@siecle-paris.com. Or by phone at +33 (0) 1 47 03 48 03, Monday to Saturday, from 11am to 7pm. We will email to acknowledge and confirm all orders.

SIÈCLE Paris prices are in Euros, taxes included. They do not include shipping costs, which will be an extra charge and calculated according to the size of the order. Shipping charges are shown before the final registration of the order by the Buyer.

When placing an order, the buyer will be required to pay a deposit representing between 30 and 50% of the total amount, with the balance to be paid before shipment of the goods.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

All reservation requests must be made on our website, accompanied by a deposit of 50% of the total amount including VAT of the reservation. SIÈCLE will confirm your booking by email subject to availability at the time of receipt of the order.

The remainder of the balance must be paid, on presentation of the invoice, at the latest 10 days before the start date of the booking. 

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF TOURS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

For all orders for the rental of products, a deposit is required from the client, which will be returned to him after checking the return of the equipment and after collection of the invoices.

PRICE – PAYMENT

The orders/invoices are established according to the rates in effect at the date of ordering. All orders are payable in Euros.

SIÈCLE Paris reserves the right to change the Products offered in its catalogs at any time and without any prior notice. 
SIÈCLE Paris accepts payment by credit card, check, cash or bank transfer. In the event of a late payment or non-respected of SIÈCLE Paris deadline, we reserve the right to cancel by letter and without compensation, the balance of orders, or suspend its execution.

Any extension of deadline will result in interest. The company may still, if it thinks fit, require payment in full at the time of ordering. In the event of late payment at the fixed dates, amounts due are automatically subject to interest based on the rate of the Bank of France, without this clause harming the due payment. The non-payment of a bill by its due date will result in an immediate payment of all previous overdue orders.

All disputes and claims that may arise will be submitted to the Commercial Court which our head office is part of, with an express and in advance attribution of jurisdiction to this Tribunal, to the exclusion of all other courts even in cases of appeal or plurality of defendants.

MANUFACTURING – DELIVERY

Objects in our collections are made entirely by hand, with respect for the tradition and a skill of excellence. Sometimes it is difficult to estimate precisely the manufacturing time for each collection.

Manufacturing times are only indicative; we accept no penalty for delay.

Any complaint about the goods will not be taken into consideration beyond three days after the receipt of the carrier receptions. We reserve the right to refuse any return merchandise that has not been authorized.

Transport costs are not included in the prices and are the customer responsibility.

Our products travel from our workshop in Seine et Marne, France. Delivery of the goods is made by a carrier selected by us or by the customer.

In all cases the goods travel at the risk of the recipient. It is the recipient responsibility to check the condition of the goods on arrival. In case of missing or damaged pieces, he must exercise its remedies against the person in charge of transport.

RETRACTION – EXCHANGE

SIÈCLE Paris does not offer under any circumstances reimbursement of goods. No cancellations or changes will be accepted for an order.

However, it is possible to make an exchange; SIÈCLE Paris will grant you immediately after date of receipt, a credit valid for one month on the next order.

Items for exchange must be returned to SIÈCLE Paris in perfect condition for resale in their original state (packaging, accessories and manuals), duly sealed and accompanied by the invoice for the purchase.
Similarly, if the product has a warranty sheet or other document to be completed with, it must not be filled so that the buyer can exercise his right of retraction.

Any product incomplete, damaged or whose original packaging has been damaged will not be traded.

In the event of total or partial cancellation of a reservation or an order, no sum paid will be reimbursed after the 7-day retraction period provided for by law. Any cancellation at the initiative of the Client must be made by sending a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. The sums paid will not be refunded. 

PROPERTIES RESERVES

The products offered by SIÈCLE Paris comply with French law.

SIÈCLE Paris cannot be held liable for breach of contract in case of force majeure, disruption, total or partial strike of postal services, transport and / or communications.

Our goods provided and facilities in place remain our property until payment of all fees of any kind even if the price for certain supplies specifically designated has been set (Law No. 80335 of 5/12/80). In case of payment by installments, this property is the guarantee reserve for the balance.

Before the full payment of our invoices, the mortgaging or collateralization of our goods delivered or our facilities will not be accepted.

The failure of either party not to claim a breach to the other party to any of the obligations set out in these terms and conditions shall not be construed in the future as a waiver to the obligation in question.

If one or more provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or declared as such under any law, regulation or following a final decision of a competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain full force and effect.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All materials featured by SIÈCLE Paris (drawings, designs, models, illustrations, images, sound tracks, texts, logos, trademarks…) are the exclusive property of SIÈCLE Paris or its subsidiaries. You may not reproduce, by any means or process, totally or in part, distribute, publish, transmit, create derivative works based on, modify or sell any such materials contained on our catalogues.

The “SIÈCLE Paris”  trademark, the trademark image with two angels holding a S and all other SIÈCLE Paris related marks and logos, whether or not registered,  are and will remain the exclusive property of SIÈCLE Paris.

Any reproduction, distribution, transmission, modification or use of these trademarks for any purpose without prior, express agreement of SIÈCLE Paris is prohibited.
