Description
Always inspired by the associations dear to the European Renaissance, Marisa re-imagines the tradition of cutlery handles in hard stone. This purely geometric design, "Quartet" is a totally original creation, as much by its ferrule decorated with four balls arranged at each corner, as by its fossilized coral stone handle more than 20 million years old.
More details
Material and style
- Fossil stone handle made of fossillized stone, coral or sea anemone strata, the latter being more fragile.
- Ferrule in brass, adorned with 4 balls, obtained by the technique of melting wax (as used in the art of jewelry and sculpture for the finesse of its details).
- Ferrule at 33 microns. This weight of silver authorizes the use of the "Poinçon Carré". Quality 1.
- Knife blade in forged and tempered steel treated "mirror polished".
Care
The porosity and fragility of the coral stone absolutely exclude the use of the dishwasher which would dull its shine. In case of breakage, the handle can be replaced by us.
