In the spirit of 18th century Venetian extravagance, this design evokes the exuberance, splendor and eccentricity of this golden age, at a time when goldsmiths vied with each other for audacity and imagination in their creations. The handle is made with inlaid mother-of-pearl, and set in a olive sprigs ferrule, symbol of Peace.

Materials and style

  • Handle made of mother-of-pearl marquetry, from Pacific shells. On special order, the mother of pearl can be declined in three colors: gold, green and purple.
  • Ferrule in brass, adorned with a olive sprigs decor, symbol of peace. Acheived by the technique of lost wax casting (as used in the art of jewelry and sculpture for the finesse of its details).
  • The head and ferrule receive 33 microns  of silver. This weight of silver authorizes the use of the "Poinçon Carré". Quality 1, French square hallmark.
