Description

The Bear is inspired by a 19th century engraving. It is included in a superb cartridge, made of edelweiss in each corner, and a maze of small coins, of 18th century. The original prints were in grisaille (black tone), that Marisa colored with watercolors, and arranged on a bright red background. The bear disappeared under the plate when the table is set, and the cartridge becomes that of the plate.

Material and style

  • Made with 17, 18 or 19th century drawing staged on a coloured background. Design made with reproduction of our chromo technique.
  • Laminated in a pouch made of thermoformed plastic, resistant to yellowing and scratches.
  • Back of the placemat entirely covered with multitude of SIECLE Paris signature.

Care

Very easy maintenance, a simple sponge is enough, and store flat to avoid deformation of the plastic.
