This word appears for the first time in 1150, the return of crusades in memory of the Arabic word tassa. At first, small object without handles, the eighteenth giving it the look and matching saucer that we know today.
It is the porcelain which is the most pleasant material to taste the tea.
The cups can be mocha, coffee, tea, kind mug, Japanese-style (without handles), with or without saucer.
