Tables around the buffet

If you receive a lot of guests, the use of several colors is interesting because you can then mix different sets of dishes and thus circumvent the lack of all similar elements.

The solution of side tables a little far from the main buffet can also give the opportunity to introduce your friends to other corners of the garden, and to vary the discoveries, especially at dessert time.

The tables are scattered around the buffet, and each table has its own setting, orchestrating plates of bright colors, pitchers with a naturalistic decoration of flowers, fruits, animals, each time developing a theme. For example, animal themes, such as those of the rooster, frogs, will always be very successful in a garden, as well as floral or fruit themes, echoing the season. Antique and second-hand dealers abound in various accessories illustrating these themes, and many inexpensive reissues are also available from specialists.
Do not put the vases filled with flowers on the tables in the open air, because a gust of wind can knock them over.

On the other hand, why not arrange them between the tables, in large tinned florist vases or in large watering cans. Spectacular reminders of the garden, they will enliven the space, bloom a corner momentarily empty of color and perfume the air! Large sage from the vegetable garden, irises, rhubarb leaves, roses or sunflowers from the garden work wonders in these uses.

Each table must be differentiated by color, style or patterns. What is important is to stay in a general harmony of the garden, including for example humor and fantasy.

These tables, where 4 or 6 guests can sit freely, are each set up in easily accessible places, not too much in the sun or in the wind. Each with their decorative theme, they promote conversation and circulation.
