Silverware Care

Pack the silverware you do not use every day in tissue parts. This will protect it from bumps and scratches and prevent it from yellowing too fast. Some advise newspaper, but the result in closets is not glamorous!
For your cutlery if you do not have built drawers or lockers, store them individually in dusters pouches that are available commercially, or in tissue/silk paper. You will then leave them in a box.
The silver plated cutlery and sterling silver support the washing machine,
but for those in silver plated, you absolutely avoid detergent products in tablet form, as well as contact with any steel element that cause their "desilvering" by electrolysis, at the wash.
Never store your cutlery with rubber links (elastic) that damage the silver immediately.
